Lucia Silva

Lucia Silva is Group Chief Sustainability Officer of Assicurazioni Generali, a role she has held since September 2015. She leads the definition and implementation of the Group’s sustainability strategy, with a strong focus on integrating sustainability into the core business and long-term corporate decision-making. She is also Co-Chair of UNEP FI (United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative).

Before joining Generali, she worked at KPMG for 15 years, advising companies across multiple sectors on sustainability strategy and development, while also contributing to the implementation of KPMG’s sustainability initiatives in the EMEA region.

She holds a Master’s degree in Governance, Business Ethics and Risk Management from LIUC – Università Cattaneo and a degree in Philosophy from the University of Milan.

She is also a Board Member of Fondazione Generali – The Human Safety Net, the non-profit foundation supported by the Generali Group that works to unlock the potential of people living in vulnerable conditions and support stronger, more inclusive communities.
