Elisabetta is a science journalist, data journalist, and investigative reporter. She is the co-founder and editor-in-chief of Facta.eu, an independent Italian news outlet that applies the scientific method to journalism and promotes science journalism as a pillar of democratic participation. With Facta, she has co-authored several environmental investigations, often cross-border, including Scorie a riposo, Wasted Wetlands, SwamPower, Under the Surface, Forever Lobbying Project, Eurocities, and Green to Grey. As part of the Italian collaborative project Senza segnale, coordinated by IrpiMedia, she co-authored the investigation Non è un’agricoltura per piccoli.
She is one of the hosts of the daily program Radio3 Scienza on RAI Radio3 and is the freelance editor-in-chief of Il BO Live.
She is co-author of *Semi ritrovati. Viaggio alla ricerca dell’agro-biodiversità* (Codice Edizioni, 2020; Alianza Editorial, 2024) and of “Making Sense of Science Stats,” in the KSJ Science Editing Handbook (MIT, 2020).
She is also the author and host of podcasts such as Foresight – Deep into the Future Planet (a Facta–CMCC co-production), She, Green (Chora Media / Il Bo Live), and Museo dei Futuri (RAI Radio3).
