Gabriele Rossi

Gabriele Rossi is an Italian-American designer and digital entrepreneur working in information design and data-native innovation.

In 2011, he co-founded Accurat in Milan, an independent data-native consulting firm working across research, design, and innovation from offices in Milan and Brooklyn. Its senior team of researchers, designers, strategists, and engineers has delivered more than 500 data design projects in 15 years for clients ranging from global corporations and tech giants to cultural institutions, international nonprofits, and public bodies. The practice runs across two units: Accurat Studio turns data into experience for brands, cultural institutions, and editorial contexts, while Accurat Tech builds AI-native applications, analytical tools, and real-time decision-making platforms.

Gabriele heads Accurat’s US operations and has led projects for clients including IBM, Google, the Gates Foundation, Ferrari, Starbucks, the Olympics, the United Nations, and MoMA.

In Brooklyn, Gabriele co-founded and runs Salotto, a design collective and cultural space curated by a group of Italian designers, which hosts Accurat’s US office. He is a co-founder and board member of I3/NYC — Italian Innovators Initiative, the association of the Italian innovation ecosystem in New York City.

Before Accurat, Gabriele co-founded Bonsaininja Studio, a communication and experience design agency in Milan, which he exited in 2010. He has taught communication design at Politecnico di Milano and NABA Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, and lectured on design and innovation at Parsons School of Design, Columbia University, the University of Pennsylvania, Pratt Institute, the School of Visual Arts, and Northeastern University.
