Lucia Silva is Group Chief Sustainability Officer of Assicurazioni Generali, a role she has held since September 2015. In this capacity, she leads the definition and implementation of the Group’s sustainability strategy and policies. Prior to joining Generali, she worked for 15 years at KPMG, where she supported companies across a wide range of sectors in defining and developing their sustainability strategy. During this period, she played a key role in developing and implementing KPMG’s own sustainability strategy in the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa), leading an international network of colleagues. She holds a Master’s degree in Governance, Business Ethics and Risk Management from Libero Istituto Universitario Carlo Cattaneo University, and a degree in Philosophy from the Università Statale di Milano.
She is also a Board Member of Fondazione Generali – The Human Safety Net, a non-profit organisation supported by the Generali Group whose mission is to unlock the potential of people in vulnerable situations so that they can transform the lives of their families and communities.
