Marianne Mirage

Marianne Mirage is an Italian singer-songwriter and musician. Graduated in Literature and Philosophy and trained as an actress at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, she chose music as her primary form of expression and harmony.

Her first major success came at the Sanremo Festival in 2017 with the song “Le Canzoni Fanno Male”, written by Francesco Bianconi (Baustelle) and Kaballà and released under the Sugar label. In the same year, the legendary Patti Smith selected her as the opening act for her Italian tour, and she shared the stage with both Italian and international artists such as Benjamin Clementine, Brunori Sas, and Tamino.

In 2018 she wrote “The Place”, a song composed, written, and performed for Paolo Genovese’s film of the same name. The track was nominated for a David di Donatello Award for Best Original Song and won a Nastro d’Argento in the same category.

In 2023 she co-wrote and composed the music for Paolo Genovese’s series “I Leoni di Sicilia”, released in October on Disney+ and Rai 1, and wrote the song “Ratatan” for Patty Pravo’s new album produced by Taketo Gohara.

On January 17, 2025 she released “Teatro”, her fourth album, and after an intensive theatre tour she is currently working on her next project.
