Born in 1985, Yuri Santagostino holds a degree in Labour Sciences and has built a career at the intersection of public administration, sustainability, and local development. He served as Mayor of Cornaredo, in the Metropolitan City of Milan, from 2014 to 2023, where he gained extensive experience in governance, urban planning, and community-focused policies.
An expert in environmental policies, with a strong focus on waste cycle planning and management, he currently serves as Executive President of Gruppo CAP, one of Italy’s leading public utilities, playing a key role in advancing sustainable water management and circular economy practices.
Santagostino is also a board member of Fondazione per l’Housing Sociale, contributing to innovative housing solutions, and previously served as Vice President of ANCI Lombardia, where he focused on housing and territorial policies. Since 2024, he has been President of Confservizi Lombardia, representing public service companies and promoting sustainable infrastructure and innovation across the region. In 2025, he was appointed Vice President of SGI Europe, further strengthening his role in shaping European policies on public services, sustainability, and economic development.
